Im really very sad to let you all know that one of my two notebooks which I was using for creating skins,

especially dreams is no more functional due to an extremely high voltage of current the last night.

But, thankfully by God's grace, I have a second notebook though its low on specs and has Vista Home

Premium installed on it. As I was using it for my office stuff till now, so now I'll have to re-build it the way it should be

for skinning, maybe it would take some time making it almost like the other one.

Also, I thank myself that I had just created a backup of my files and folders a couple of weeks ago which is

really gonna be very helpful at this time.

So I just need a day or two for this job and I'll be back with some great stuff.

OH, I have a question too !! Can I install Object Desktop on this one or the license is only for one time installation?

Sorry to hear that your laptop got zapped like that... but yeah, you can install your ObjectDesktop apps on your other machine with no problems. The license aggreement allows this, providing you do not have it running on two machines at the same time you'll be fine.

I hope you manage to get the upgrade to your other machine done soon.

Slight correction: you *can* install the ObjectDesktop applications on upto three (3) machines - providing you (the licenseholder) are the main user of said machines.

Orright, then... that's news to me.  Last time I looked it was able to be installed on two, but run on only one machine at a time. Oh well, that's good news... if I need to run my XP rig as well (video work, etc), I won't have to tolerate the Fisher Price look.

thank you everyone for their support, just cleaning up all the unnecessary old stuff from the machine after which I have a long list of programs to be installed on it, this job too is involving a lot of time as this machine has been very much unattended.

Hope to get back as soon as possible, WC is an addiction to me, I feel im missing a great part of my life without any new skins and yeah........my new desktop needs some more life......a new dream or a WB decoration............hehe

Do not fret, the exact same thing happened to me as well. Luckily i have an old (windows 98) desktop which can support windows vista with a few adjustments.

Hope your laptop comes out smoothly after you tweak her up a bit.
